Redline = Premium Inventory Photography

Our inventory photography specialists visit their dealers on a schedule determined by the number of vehicles requiring pictures and/or video. Cars are located and staged so that the vehicles are the focal point of the photos, not random lot debris. Image quality can be the difference between an appointment on your lot or at your competitors.

Our professional photographers understand the importance of great pictures and accurate data but also the reality that the most important thing you have going on is the Up on the lot who needs your attention. Our dealer services are “at your service”. Let us know if you would like to learn how we help hundreds of dealers nationwide get their vehicle inventory photos online fast.

Inspire Clicks

Nothing surpasses the impact of online images for increasing click-through rate. Click-through rate is also an SEO metric that directly influences the overall cost of an auto dealer’s online visibility.

Cost Efficient

A higher click-through rate will drive website visits at a lower cost. However, if a dealer’s New or Used car images are sub-par they will get fewer clicks and will drive costs higher.

Save Time

Redline spends MORE time at your lot pulling cars out and getting the highest quality imagery, so you can get your cars online and visible faster.

Drive Sales

Getting your cars online faster enables you to focus on selling. Our quality inventory photos allows your inventory to be seen and provoke sales.

Highly Trained Photographers

Auto dealer photography needs to exceed the high expectations of your website visitors. Car shopping is emotional. Very few buyers truly NEED a new vehicle, they want one. Connect with your visitors through superior vehicle imagery.

Redline’s highly-trained photographers know how to stage, frame, light, capture and edit photos of your inventory to trigger emotional responses in shoppers resulting in MORE clicks, MORE leads and MORE sales.

The car shopping journey visually starts with a thumbnail photo – make yours count!

Missing Photo Reports

The typical break-point between inventory photo service providers and car dealership management is communication. Redline automotive photography specialists understand that nothing is more important than the time on the floor or on the lot. We can wait. It is actually part of our plan. We will be there when you have time for us.

Our inventory photo service includes use and review of a comprehensive Missing Photo Reports (MPRs) for both dealership management and Redline management. This process keeps Redline photographers accountable to our high service-level expectations.

We strive to physically touch every car missing photos on each visit and to provide dealership management with detailed information on location, condition and status of every vehicle that we CAN’T photograph. Redline’s dealer services provide superior communication to get your inventory online FASTER.

This process takes a little additional effort, but Missing Photo Reports (MPRs) ensure you always in-the know. If a vehicle is missing photos you’ll know WHY.

OEM Data

Don’t be fooled! Some low-end dealership photography companies promote “VIN explosion” as though it offers the same decode of model-specific data. Redline collects OEM-specific package and option details for your vehicles.

Listing your cars with high-value vehicle-specific data (not a “VIN explosion”) helps buyers find your inventory on your dealership website, OEM sites and 3rd party sites.

Still Have Questions?

What are Redline Lot Services?

Redline Lot Services, also known as dealership photography or inventory photography, is the process of a lot services expert taking photographs of a dealership’s current inventory of vehicles on the lot. This includes new and used vehicles, whether pre-recon (pre-reconditioning) or those that are ready for sale.

The most important element of quality dealership photography is an understanding of what dealerships need the most to properly promote the cars they have in stock – and that’s something we’ve been experts in for over 15 years. Redline can show you the difference between good and *great* inventory photography as well as the impact it can make on your bottom line.

What's the difference between good and bad vehicle photography?

“Good” vehicle photography is just that – half-decent pictures of the cars you have for sale. Nothing special, nothing that attracts attention from a wide audience of potential buyers. What makes a *great* photo involves ensuring the proper angle, background, reflections, and details on a car for sale, highlighting all the things a potential buyer wants to see. In short, good photography is easy- great photography takes a deep understanding of what customers want, and how to entice them to visit your dealership.

What makes Redline's vehicle photography great?

We take photos in the same way a salesperson sells a vehicle. We take the time to highlight all the crucial selling features, and make sure to show the condition of the vehicle in detail so customers know what to expect when they visit a dealership. We also thoroughly train our photographers to minimize background distractions by capturing vehicles at optimal angles (including what’s in the background, reflections, and shadows). In short, we make sure your photos are perfect every time.

What are missing photo reports?

Missing photo reports are either digital or printed breakdowns of the photos that were taken, those that couldn’t be taken (generally with an explanation as to why), and anything else pertinent to a dealership when a photographer visits to take vehicle photos. When done well, missing photo reports should make sure a dealership understands the status of all their vehicle photography, with an action plan to make sure all vehicles in a dealer’s inventory are properly photographed and put on the web to drive traffic.

What does time-to-market mean?

The term “time to market” refers to the amount of time that passes between when a dealership acquires a vehicle in their inventory, and when it is presented to potential customers either on the web or in a dealer’s lot. This is a critical element to helping dealerships sell their vehicles quickly and maximize their revenue from those sales.

Communication and prioritization are key to getting cars online fast. As experts in the dealership service space for over 15 years, Redline highly recommends exterior-only pre-recon photos as well as thorough communication with sales management, detail departments, and photography in order to accomplish optimal time to market. Our approach to vehicle photography is to ensure the quickest time to market while maintaining the highest quality photography possible to help our dealer partners sell more vehicles.

What does pre-recon mean?

The term “pre-recon” refers to the state of a vehicle prior to reconditioning, cleaning, and servicing of a pre-owned vehicle.
